Why was this bill recommended to me?

How Mandate decides what lands in Recommended, and how to get fewer off-target bills.

A bill is recommended when it matches one of your search terms in a state you watch, and the AI judges it relevant to your organization description and topics. The "What this means for you" section on the bill explains the reasoning.

Seeing bills that do not fit?

  • Remove broad search terms that match unrelated bills.
  • Make your organization description more specific: what you do, where, and how big.
  • Mark misses Not relevant to clear them.

Missing bills you expected?

  • Add the words that would appear in those bills as search terms.
  • Check the state is selected and covered by your plan.
  • Search the Policy library and track the bill directly.
